The Timișoara Chamber of Notaries Public continues, year after year, a charitable project that has become a tradition, through which the notarial profession remains close to the community.
Now in its ninth edition, this initiative took the form this year of the “Freedom in the Community” conference, an event dedicated to dialogue, reflection and social responsibility.
Through this edition, colleagues from the Timișoara Chamber brought attention to topics relevant to contemporary society: freedom, responsibility, the search for meaning and the ways in which we seek answers in an increasingly complex world.
The dialogue featured Teodor Baconschi and Vasile Bănescu, the event’s special guests, both recognised for their contributions to Romania’s cultural landscape, and was moderated by Cosmin Pleșa, a cultural figure, director and educator, who highlighted and enriched their contributions.
Congratulations to Eduard Lambert, President of the Timișoara Chamber of Notaries Public, and to the colleagues from the Chamber involved in organising this event, for their commitment to ensuring the continuity of a charitable project that is important both to the profession and to the community.
We would also like to thank our colleague Adina Renate Motica, whose works added to the emotional significance of the event. Created with the passion and rigour that define both her legal and artistic work, the pieces were showcased as part of the event, with the funds raised being donated to the Masca Association. Through this gesture, art naturally complemented the mission of the notarial profession to remain close to the people and the community it serves.
The National Union of Notaries Public of Romania appreciates and encourages such initiatives, which strengthen the connection between the notarial profession and society and reaffirm the importance of solidarity, dialogue and responsibility.
