UNNPR and the Italian National Council of Notaries: bilateral dialogue and cooperation
Yesterday, 7 September 2026, a bilateral meeting between representatives of the National Union of Notaries Public of Romania (UNNPR) and the Italian National Council of Notaries (CNN) took place at the UNNPR headquarters, in the presence of the presidents of the two professional organisations, Laura Badiu and Vito Pace.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experience on topics of common interest to the Romanian and Italian notariats, in the context of legislative and technological developments at European level.
The discussions addressed, among other topics, the European legal framework applicable to companies, the digitalisation process and the integration of new technologies into notarial practice, electronic identity and the development of digital tools, as well as the protection of vulnerable persons and the essential role of notaries in ensuring legal certainty in this area.
The dialogue highlighted the common concerns of the two notariats regarding the transformations currently affecting the profession, as well as the importance of cooperation and the exchange of best practices between European notariats.
The meeting forms part of UNNPR’s ongoing efforts to strengthen relations with professional notarial organisations across Europe and around the world and to promote international dialogue and cooperation in the spirit of the values shared by the notarial profession at European and international level.
