The National Union of Public Notaries of Romania is, by law, a private professional organisation, with its own assets and budget made up from private sources, through the contributions of public notaries. UNNPR uses no public funds.
The entities with separate legal personality under the authority of the Union (the Civil Liability Fund of Public Notaries, the Romanian Notarial Institute, the National Centre for the Administration of the National Notarial Registers CNARNN-Infonot and the Pension Fund of Public Notaries) likewise have their own assets and budgets made up from private sources, through the contributions of public notaries. They use no public funds.
