Romanian notariat, a relevant voice at the Colloquium of Mediterranean Notariats
The National Union of Notaries Public of Romania (UNNPR) was represented at the 8th Colloquium of Mediterranean Notariats, held in Paris on 16–17 April 2026, by a delegation coordinated by Notary Public Ion Marin, First Vice-President of UNNPR.
The delegation included Notary Public Carmen Dima, Notary Public Oana Rosenberg and Notary Public Dragoș Isache, who served as national rapporteurs on the three central themes of the colloquium: investment security, the digital environment and the societal environment.
The event, organised by the French High Council of Notaries (CSN), in cooperation with the International Union of Notaries (UINL) and the Henri Capitant Association, focused on the theme “Investment Transactions in the Mediterranean Area” and brought together notarial law professionals from multiple jurisdictions.
The colloquium addressed current topics such as the digitalisation of notarial services, the use of emerging technologies, including blockchain and artificial intelligence, as well as the role of notaries in protecting investments and in the dynamics of social and property relations.
The active participation of the UNNPR delegation in this event highlighted the Romanian notariat’s continued involvement in international professional initiatives and in the development of the notarial profession at global level.
